About the Role

The Director of Facilities oversees maintenance, compliance, and construction across all locations, ensuring operational excellence and brand consistency. This role requires a hands-on, strategic leader with strong technical knowledge, vendor management skills, and experience managing budgets in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee preventive maintenance for HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, and kitchen equipment.
• Ensure interiors and exteriors reflect brand standards and guest experience goals.
• Coordinate vendor services (grease traps, hood cleanings, inspections, etc.) and maintain records for compliance.
• Conduct routine property inspections and manage repair work orders.
• Supervise small-scale repairs and support restaurant teams with daily facility needs.
• Ensure compliance with DOH, FDNY, OSHA, and building regulations.
• Manage vendor relationships, budgets, and capital improvement projects.
• Support new openings with construction coordination and FF&E/OS&E procurement.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in facilities or maintenance management for multi-unit restaurants or hospitality.
• Strong technical expertise in building systems and equipment.
• Proven experience managing budgets, vendors, and construction projects.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Working knowledge of NYC codes and safety regulations.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range: $175,000–$195,000 + potential bonus
